YAY! Markets started in 2021 when we came together to bring an elevated outdoor holiday market experience -- inspired by NYC's iconic street markets -- to Peekskill's new public square, Esther Place. The success of our first market led to a second HOLIYAY! Market in 2022, this time at Station Square outside the Peekskill train station. We fell in love with the space, and decided it was perfect for a warm weather market. And so our Mother's YAY! Market launched at Station Square in spring of 2023.

The core YAY! team consists of just two people, Apple of POME florals and Fred of Peekskill Exurbanist. With the help of our community partners including Arts10566, SharpStone Restauarant Group, the City of Peekskill, our incredible roster of vendors, and others we've been able to bootstrap our markets into existence.

But to grow YAY! into something truly impactful to the Peekskill community, we need your help.
